LENORE'S MEAT LOAF SUPREME

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 lb. pork sausage
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 cup medium cracker crumbs (20 crackers)
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 cup dairy sour cream

Thoroughly combine ingredients.  Press into 9x5x3 inch baking dish.  Bake at 350 degrees about 1 1/2 hours.  Let stand 10 minutes; turn out on platter.

If desired, serve with mushroom sauce made as follows:

Pour droppings from meat loaf - combine with:
1/2  cup sour cream
1 beef bouillon cube, crushed
1 - 3 oz. can of broiled, sliced mushrooms, undrained

Heat mixture just until boiling.

Makes 8-10 servings

Suggestion:  Double recipe and freeze one meat loaf.
