FRESH PEACH PIE

5 cups fresh sliced peaches
1 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg or cinnamon
dash of salt
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. butter
1/8 tsp. almond extract

Mix almond extract into peaches.  Combine remaining ingredients.  Place in uncooked pie shell, cover with crust.  Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.

NOTE:  Double recipe for cobbler,  place in 9x12 pan.
